Your UTR is a 10 digit number in the format 1234567890 - this is an example only. (There may be a 'K'  at the end of your ten-digit number on letters from HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC), please don't enter the 'K' in the box).

If you are already registered for Self Assessment, you will find your UTR on the front page of your tax return or any Self Assessment calculations HMRC have sent you.
