Anyone know where I can find out more about the new CGT rules for rented property being sold? we are selling our rental and have heard that even though we lived in it for 20 years out of nearly 30 we won't be getting PRRelief any more, is that true?! as well a Lettings relief...

I can advise you that the new Capital Gains Tax proposals are currently only at the consultation stage following the 2018 Budget.

You can find the current information on this on the HM Treasury site within the Gov.uk website.

There is only a consultation at the moment. PPR is not being withdrawn. There is a proposal to reduce the final allowable period from 18 to 9 months. Letting relief is under review. They are considering applying it only to people where the tenant is living with the owner in the let property.
