major problems sending own practice vat return through our ASA

22/05/2019 06:31:07
Basically I have two id’s with HMRC for vat reasons

1 The old vat Gateway ( which shows my Jan to March 2019 vat return in arrears)
And
2 My ASA

I entered MTD voluntarily one quarter earlier than I needed to
I thought I could transmit the Jan to March return under MTD
I signed up for MTD ( not with a fresh ID because i was told as i had an existing ASA
i could not/ should not do that) and used the ASA account to make myself an authorised
client of the Asa account which is what I thought
I had to do because I can’t have an ASA and a separate MTD platform just for the practice

However, old vat Gateway account , although it opens and shows what I’m in arrears
for, is now closed to me as far as being able to transmit fresh figures , and to make matters worse the
new ASA refuses to permit me to transmit MTD vat returns

Hence, although I know my vat figures ( and have paid them already)
I remain in default and can neither use the old nor the new system to resolve
To make matters worse the old gateway account tells me to pay an estimated sum,
because it can’t match up with the payment I made

If I’m not allowed to open an fresh account, and neither the old gateway nor the ASA platform let me transmit my vat return ,
I’m in a particularly stressful situation
