Self Assessment - Taxable Benefits

I understand that my Car Allowance and Healthcare Insurance are taxed at source and therefore I am not required to include them within the taxable benefits from my employer, is this correct?

Hi there, these amounts would still be included on your return under the taxable benefits section of your employment. This is so when we do the calculation we can account for the extra tax that has been paid at that source of income and not mistake it for overpaid tax.

Please define "Taxed at source". Are they coded out in your PAYE code, in which case you must show them in the return. If they are payrolled it included in your pay on your P60, you should not show them in the return.
