Employee or Self employed or both?

10/01/2018 17:18:59
I have a LTD company and am director, for tax year 16-17 I did not receive an income or dividend, therefore do I tick this box as an employee?
I also do a little other self employed work.
I am not sure whether I need to tick both boxes or just the one for SE with two businesses.
Thanks for your advice.

Employee or Self employed or both?

If you are a director of a limited company you are an employee. Does the company have a PAYE scheme for when you want to start paying yourself?

Hi Lin
As you are a director of a limited company choose yes for "were you an employee", and choose yes for self employment (with one business)
Kind regards
