Capital Allowances for MacBook pro

I am a musician and am wondering about what capital allowances I can put towards my expenses this year. It is the first year I am earning over the threshold so I never needed to dig them out to use previously.

Firstly, I bought a MacBook Pro on 26/4/16, JUST missing this tax year. Ironically the main earner that has brought me over the threshold this year is from me performing for a band on their tour last summer, and I bought the laptop to take on that tour, without realising the date would just miss this financial year.

Secondly, I bought an iMac back in 2009, and not sure whether I can bring any amount of that purchase forward.

Both were solely purchased for business use, to use programmes like Logic and iMovie with my recording set up, and to manage my social media and managerial tasks.

If you could help that would be great, thank you!
