PAYE registration

Thank you very much for joining me
I have been trading since the beginning of January with my LTD, and now I am I a process of registering for my PAYE, since I am an employee/director of my own company.
I am in a process of making my payslip.
I have received a letter from HMRC with my Employee PAYE reference code, and also my 13 character accounts office reference code.
I got inside my account again with an HMRC operator on the phone and I was told, I now need to wait for my PAYE activation code, but I am a bit worried, it is taking too long I do not want to receive any penalties
Any suggestion according this matter will very appreciative

Hi,

Please see this statement taken from Gov.UK:

"You’ll get a 12-digit activation code within 10 days of enrolling for a new online service, or 21 days if you live abroad."

The activation number is sent by post for security reasons

Today I have received the PAYE activation code letter and I did try to activate it, but it is not working


I got this message here
Problem: You have tried to activate this service three times, but have been unsuccessful. As a security
precaution, you have now been de-enrolled from this service. The Activation code we sent to
you has been cancelled . If you wish to use this online service, you must enrol for the service
again and wait for a new Activation code through the post.


The code i did enter is absolutely correct, i did also save a screen-shot of the message i get and the code i did insert

I did try to call HMRC today many times, but they seem to be very very busy today I could not get hold with them

When you receive your code you will need to activate this within 28 days from the date on the letter otherwise you'll have to re-apply for a new one. If you have not received your activation code within the time limit you will need to contact the online services help desk on

I did try to call again HMRC but the answering machine is saying that because of the severe weather condition they are unable to answer my call
The number you did suggest is not available anymore, I am calling 0300 200 3211
I am desperate I do not know what to do please please help Thank you

I am sorry you are having these problems. Unfortunately due to severe weather conditions the call centre is closed. You will need to contact them to resolve this problem. Try this number 0300 200 3600

Thank you very much for your reply I did manage to contact HMRC today with number you suggested, and I had to send a request to get a new activation code, since the one they sent me is not working and HMRC could not explain me why... Thank you very for your support
